Well, i've done that twice nowHz-Lab wrote:lol.. in all seriousness, and no disrespect Gizmo, why announce that you're quitting? seems silly to me, why not just take a break? 3 months down the track u might get the bug again and get back into it.And won't u look like a Dil then.. lol... If not, then a subtle fading into oblivion will take place as per every other LFS'er who has decided to end their racing.
Thanks for the kind words fellas.

For those who think that this thread is attention seeking...
I don't really think that is very fair, many people in the Aussie LFS community have become good friends and enjoy the company of specific racers. So when a 'racer' decides to stop playing i think it is well within his\her rights to post saying thank you for the good times etc. If you did not see eye to eye with the person who is stopping lfs then simply don't post... have the decency to realize that whilst you may think its attention seeking, the person may well just be trying to say good bye and thank you.
So to all those who blurted out posts saying this is attention seeking please have a little more respect.

Thats fair enough Sambo, just to clarify, i was not declaring it was attention seeking as such. I'm as sad to see Giz go as the next bloke, i was just at a mystery to why someone would Declare a definate end to such a thing. When i mean really, its something that is always relatively easy to get back into. Its not like real racing where an end to a career may result in the sale of Vehicles and equipment worth a small fortune or anything...
Just baffles me a little u know...
