How did that all pan out, picking up the leader, etc?

Sounds like a blast!
Yeah there was mate, we had the safety Enforcer in the Nevco 300 pace car :)

Works pretty damn well ;)

All good from my side, bit of a pain but thats racing

Nice to see that I'm not the only one watching Nascar every week, usually both Busch Series and Nextel Cup with a Craftsman Truck race every now and then :)

I think from that video its quite clear you turned into me. I turned mid corner yes, but on the exit i held my line.
No it's quite clear you turned left on exit, look at the line everyone else infront is doing coming out of the corner. Don't take completely stupid unpredictable lines with a car beside you, especially when you're not even fighting for the lead..
:faint:

r8 you were on the outside and new dam well Bugle was there, you also should know that coming out of the corners the "line" is to drift to the outside somewhat yet you gave absolutely no room to a driver you weren't even racing with and caused a completely unneccesary accident. Most people would have apologised even if they thought they weren't completely in the wrong yet it seems you could not possibly ever be in the wrong, not r8response....... I have tried to give you a chance, but time and time again all I see is a lack of respect towards your fellow drivers.

Not to get in the way of a good ol' r8 bashing or anything... but looking at the video, r8 was drifting wide slowly, Bugle appeared to expect him to drift wide in time with those in front. Sure, no doubt there is some argument to be made for those a lap down to be as predictable and give as much room as possible, but the 'cause' of the accident really looks to be Bugle's expectations and the reality of the situation not matching up.

Fair money says if it was someone else there wouldn't be this level of fuss made... if you're going to try and show how someone is a continually bad driver, at least find decent examples.

I don't believe it but..... I am with r8 on this one. You can't say that what he did was stupid showing a lack of respect. He just held his line, everyone else drifted high. At best, it was a racing incident, but from the evidence I have seen, you would say that bugle did it to himself.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a car to follow the same line as everyone else when running two wide, there's absolutely no reason to run down the inside of the track on a straight in that situation..

bugle, r8.

can i ask a dumb question?

was r8 blue flagged?

if so why was he racing bugle ?

i see that if bugle and r8 were on the same lap r8 didnt do anything really wrong
if r8 was down a lap why the F*$K was he racing bugle ?

sorry but this is oval racing not your general track racing, holding the line in this case is to go high, what r8 did was deviate from the line for whatever reason causing the accident, and r8 to be a lap down just makes it 10x worse that he even did that in the first place

Its very hard to tell who was at fault, the general line on the oval is to go to the outside after a corner. (I think I'll stop there :p)

Forget who was/wasn't at fault though, r8 was a lap down, its very annoying to be leading for 90 + laps then get in an accident with a backmarker , that should never ever happen.

I didn't even realise r8 was a lap down at the time, he was mixing it up with all of us at the front there, I remember giving him room etc... :smash:

Good race bar that incident ;)
