Awesome indeed. That has to be the biggest winning margin in AFL / VFL history. Port Adelaide got will and truly owned. All that bowing and shit port Adelaide were doing in the preliminary finals counts for nowt now really.

The cats deserved the premiership, it was well deserved and they were the clear favourates all year.

Port weren't looking like a premiership team until late in the H&W season, but jesus guys give them SOME competition

What a boring game... The Geelong - Collingwood game was more of a Grand Final tbh...

Yeah I think Collingwood were probably a touch better side than Port although the Cats would more than likely have smashed any side they played yesterday. Port were much like North the week before, placed higher than their talent and experience would suggest and soundly beaten by a far superior side.

Looking forward to seeing the damage :)

After 44 years, I am sure I can still find a pub swinging, showing replays... :)

Even for a NON AFL officianardo, I smiled to see these guys win...

Fuck Geelong!

The way they played though, no side would have had a chance. Port didnt get a chance to set anything up at all Geelong played so tight that once a power player got their hand on the ball, they had less than half a second to do anything with it the entire match, it seemed like Geelong had twice as many men on the field! I went to the Port / Kangaroos final and Port did the same thing to them, football is a strange game.
Geelong definately deserved the premiership and were a class above the rest this year but I think Port can hold their heads high considering their effort for the season on the whole, too bad they screwed up in the most important match.

As far as Tredrea's bow the week before... what's the big deal? It's not the first time a sportsperson or any performer has celebrated in such fashion, look at Soccer and Cricket for instance!
