Are you going to get Cameron McConville in for expert comments?

Na, we already have our very own nationally renowned expert commentator, in-house at OzSport

And a guy who looks like Justin Wilson, who may or may not potentially be providing expert comments :D

Somehow the word "expert" crept into that post....

We'll have to tease Darrel Eastlake over with some of our limited edition OzSport currency :)

Just to clarify, this will be a 'live' broadcast?

It will be post-produced, though the intention is to make it appear that it's live :)

Cool, I'll put OzBee down as reserve.

The other option would be to change the venue so we could accomodate more racers (I really didn't expect such a great response! I was hoping for it, but didn't expect it). Part of the reason though that we chose SO Sprint 1 Reverse was because it's the shortest track in LFS (less track to cover with our 'cameras') and having just 15 drivers on track would perhaps make it easier for race control to manage.

Is there no chance you guys could just open another couple of spots?

The reason we can only have so many spots is because of South City Sprint Rev being a restricted circuit to 16 vehicles.

For anyone who misses out on this test run they will still be able to enter in the series which will allow full grids :D

Basically, as a test, we want this to be on a smaller scale so it is, as Butters said, as manageable as possible. If we can nail this then we can go full-scale

Its great to see so many Aussie teams and privateers so enthusiastic about this! I'm stoked and I'm not even racing

hmm...i just realised what the track is. Reversed version of that track is very very tricky. Not willing to change it to normal mode?

tbh, the normal version of the track will just make for an insanely boring race...reverse there are a lot more overtaking opportunities and because its harder there will be more to comment on. I think its a good choice.

Shaun Field Reveals he's new ride

Image

Shaun Field (now a member of GPLegacy Racing) has unveiled the new Formula V8 for the 2007/2008 season. To be unleashed at South City next week, the striking new livery is the best from the team so far.

Shaun was quoted on saying 'Well it should make the back of the grid look alot more interesting.'
