They aren't shiny at all. It's just the map he has applied to the sidewalls. The "shininess" is simply part of the BF Goodrich logo.avaran wrote:Nice one! I only have one question.. why are the tyres so shiny?

I can't hope notice that the metallic engine cowl clips that look so good in viewer are not so detailed in the renders, not even 3d

Hey mate, I don't know what you use for your rendering but I've got a brake rotor and caliper that you can use if you like. They in .max format but the materials are the scanline renderer so should export to .3ds easily enough. I made them for an MP4/6 but they'll do for anything really.KNAPPO wrote:Just use the euro style brakes mate

Bloody hell, everyones a critic The problem is bloody knappo was so dam keen to get all that stuff off me I didn't really have much time to fix it all up.
I had some rotors to chuck in there later. They look pretty sweet exar, can I grab them off you? They may end up being overkill but we'll take a look.
The engine clips are missing an alpha map, plus they aren't 3d in the viewer, they are just textures.
goes off mumbling.............
