Wonder if this "damage" patch thats coming is going to be deformation damage or just "mechanical" damage. Anyone know?

the only races i can't get gold are the 10min get a certain time within races

I have gold in all the C and B events, I haven't attempted all the A events yet. Have you done all the manufacturers events and Arcade stuff repo?

Yeah the time trial ones are a pain in the bum. They all take a bit of something special (or cheating). M3 one took ages. Its certainly easier if you have a better start (say 3rd gear, flying through from the last lap). Gains you a good 0.5 - 0.7 seconds on your first sector. GT40 one didn't take as long but annoyed me so much more. Couldn't really find the balance between crazy oversteer drift mode and crazy understeer slow mode.

The fun only really starts when you get to S class and you have penalties to worry about Yes I've finished all the manufact. events, but unfortunately I had to use all my "F1" monies to buy the required cars Not sure I can be arsed doing the same races over and over 60 or 70 times just for the F1 car. As for arcade, didn't even realise there are races in there :O

A video with some info on the Evo X and two on the GTR R35 including a damp lap around nords! They want to do the same sort of thing for alot more cards. It's actually not a bad idea.

umm so if i have the disc version then this stuff should already be on my disc yeah? and i cant bloody wait for the Top Gear episodes to be released on GT-TV that will be the best and then driving on the top gear test track trying to beat the stigs time

Just looking through a few of the time trials... 650 PP @ Daytona Speedway for instance. Six F2007's at the top, 5 seconds faster then everyone else. Somehow they detuned the F1 (from ~950) to under 650pp (which is literally impossible). Hex editing the saves or something. OK so this is prologue, its going to have some bugs but sheeze I was hoping it would be a little more secure then this. On top of this, half the top times are people wall riding. As someone said "Gran Turismo 5: The Real Wall-Riding simulator".

This is were PSN falls apart... You can't exactly ban people (accounts or consoles), they can just go and make a new account :\ At least with xbox live if you get caught you lose your account (and thus xbox live privileges). Sure you can go buy a new account but at least its a good disincentive not to cheat (having to fork out more $ for xbox live).

i remember that too it should be on the back of the in game manual or the manual that came with the disc
