Hey guys,
Having withdrawal big time at the moment... Been a week without arse! Finally managed to get back in (through some dodgy proxy) which is far from ideal. About a week ago I was unable to connect to the site and just brushed it off as downtime for maintenance. Hours grew into days so I started looking into it and found out everyone else (including others on my ISP) could access the site. After having my request for having my IP change denied I'm out of options.

Done a fair bit of messing about and it looks like the host server has blocked my IP. Won't return pings and all the DNS stuff is in order, so all facts point to me being blocked. It seems totally out of the blue though I havn't got the faintest clue why I would be blocked. Regardless I'm not sure who I should be asking to look into this for me so I posted in here. It would be much appreciated if someone who has contact with the host could find out why (or if?) I was banned and If I could be unbanned!

Kev, I thought the bit bolded below, would have meant he wasn't using his real IP address.

99% of his posts come from one IP address. Might be worth checking that that one is ok with the hosts.

Yeah sorry I didn't post my IP. Don't want it just randomly floating about is all I'll PM it now... Damn proxy is starting to annoy me now, hopefully this can be resolved!

I'm assuming you have a special static IP address... Why may I ask?

I do have a static IP although its not 'special'. Having a static IP is just part of the 'default package' for my ISP's home net plans.

Its too much effort to get my IP changed just for one website which may or may not have me banned... So I'm hoping this can all be resolved. Don't exactly fancy this proxy server (slow) but at least I can still visit / view / post.
