Youtube recently changed the way its links work.
They now force you to your own country's prefix (uk.youtube and au.youtube) regardless of what you type in. Also some http://www.youtube links were redirected back to your own country. Presumably to speed up the streaming.

This messes up the youtube BBcode a bit so I've now changed it. It's now hugely more flexible.

It will now take
au.youtube
uk.youtube
http://www.youtube
or just the ID number at the end of the line
all without you having to edit anything in the address

Just edit the post, add a character like a . to make it 'different' and resubmit if it's one of yours.
Others will just drop off the page in time.
