Im selling my Nikon gear at the moment, would be great for anyone wanting to try photography, or one helluva xmas gift

18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
55-200mm f/4-5.6G VR w/HB-37 lens Hood & soft bag
2x EN-EL9 Batteries
Sandisk Ultra II 8gb SD card (Class 4)
Lowepro Rezo 160AW bag (Holds everything perfectly)

All of this gear was purchased 10th January 2009 from Stallards Camera House in Hobart, all original receipts and warranty cards are included

Thats a bargain - I sold those two lenses on Ebay for about $400 alone

probably a step below, it was around the 1000D price point maybe a bit cheaper new. but all of this was worth over $1200 less than a year ago, and would cost you even more to buy this stuff now

Hey all! Man been a long time since I've stopped in here. Missed this place! I think my night will be gone already browsing the ret of the old threads.

Anyway I'm selling my camera and gear and thought I'd post it here see if anyone was interested or if anyone knew of someone who might be interested. Also I'm up for suggestions on where else to try sell that might be effective. I'm putting it on gumtree and was thinking ebay but all I ever have is bad experiences with scammers buying out my items there so I'm pretty negative on the whole ebay thing.

Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens
Canon Speedlite 270EX flash

I was going to ask $2000 or $1950 or somewhere around there just going off the value of the lens and body but I'd appreciate if someone could tell me I'm dreamin or if that's reasonable.

I find the fact that someone reviewed it, using it for wedding photography, the most shocking.

He neglected to mention he was a paparazzi trying to take photos of a wedding from 2 miles away.

Realistically Kev only conceivably interested in this but looking to offload my 24-70 f/2.8 due to lack of use. It's in very good, but lightly used condition. It's with me in Spain but we'll both be in the UK for the next month. If interested, let me know.

Nope, doesn't really offer anything you haven't already got. Offered to Mole as well but he's pretty much just using the phone these days. I think Markus downsized to Fuji a while ago and there aren't many more ARSEs in Europe. Oh well, may have to eBay it.
