Haven't had a chance to see the Round 4 track/notice/password so I'll have to pull out this week. Sorry guys - I really enjoy these events but got a bit of an early one and a drive the next day and I'd rather not be a mobile chicane with a lack of practice.
Really enjoyed this series. If it's the last one, cheers to Hz for putting up the tracks and everything. Nice one

How much practice does the mrt on a flat surface with a few turns need?matticooper wrote:Haven't had a chance to see the Round 4 track/notice/password so I'll have to pull out this week. Personally I reckon a series like this where the track was only revealed half an hour before or so would be fun

To me, it is only revealed half hour before start :PBlowtus wrote:How much practice does the mrt on a flat surface with a few turns need?matticooper wrote:Haven't had a chance to see the Round 4 track/notice/password so I'll have to pull out this week. I was gonna ditch this round too (heading off early on Friday) but since BFR are on top at the moment, I better keep it going. You see... i care about our team points, unlike rumble who pulled out of AAL!

For someone like me that hasn't played LFS in over a year... it takes me a little while to get up to speed. Plus this series was the first time I've raced on autocross layouts (or whatever they're called) and I'm still getting used to the car (which I've never run before). If you'd used the shopping trolley (UF1000), I'd have no qualms with 30 mins practice before the race.Blowtus wrote:How much practice does the mrt on a flat surface with a few turns need?matticooper wrote:Haven't had a chance to see the Round 4 track/notice/password so I'll have to pull out this week. I usually like an hour for at least 2 nights before the race so I don't hugely embarrass myself (which is a daily occurence), plus 10 mins before the racing starts.
