Re: ARSE GT5 League
Sweet, sounds like some intrest.. I might orginise the first race for next tuesday, if we dont get it going soon xmas will slow most poeple down. Ill make some decisions..
DateTuesday 7th December
Time9pm Sydney, 8pm Brisbane time
Track: Suzuka
Laps: 3 x 10 lap sessions with a short break inbetween.
Any recommendations on a car? seeing its quite a big circut, lets pick a single make with some decent HP.. must be selectable in the Mulitplayer screen.

ysu / birdysu
let's start with weaker single makes, and then we can work out categories (eg year, and HP restrictions?)

I've not had a lot of time with the game but I'm keen to see what it's like online.

Re: ARSE GT5 League
We could, but in a competitive race, thought people would have been more keen to have a more even playing fieldGizmo wrote:Gizmo / Metrogizual

Re: ARSE GT5 League
I agree with everyone using the same car to atleast get some parity... Otherwise it will become like GT life where your driving a lambo murcelago and the AI driving 96 alfas and such.
I would join this thing but only having a controller while most are on wheel i'll just get killed lol. When someone gives me $300 ill buy a wheel

Even playing field would be the go.
Gizmo, you need to assign you car as a favourite for that to work mate.

Re: ARSE GT5 League
I'll be using a controller. A wheel goes against the reason I bought a fun "pick up and play" game. Although I wouldn't mind having a go with my wheel, I simple can not be bothered setting it upTIMMY30 wrote:I agree with everyone using the same car to atleast get some parity... If I recall correctly righty was bloody fast with the controller in prologue.
Was it you righty that won a g25 through some gran turismo competition? I know someone here did once ages ago

Re: ARSE GT5 League
He he, I didn't have my name in the GT4 official guide for no reason But it was a DFP I won and another copy of GT4 But at least that one is signed by Yamauchi. I only found out about LFS because I was looking for a game to try out my new DFP with on PC.TIMMY30 wrote:If I recall correctly righty was bloody fast with the controller in prologue.

I should add that I was at uni back in those days, so I had a lot more time to sit on my arse and play games
