Need some help with Billet

Post by c.j »

Just curious to know if anyone has access to a friend/mate/work place who can work with billet? Someone who is proficient with a Mill?

I wanted to have a timing belt guide for my car made. I will provide the specifications and drawing.

Otherwise I will buy one, but by god they are hexy.

I would say getting it done would be rather "hexy" also. I know of some places, but I don't know anyone there, so there would not be any super deals. Dunno about in QLD though.

Have you looked anywhere in the US? everything is soooooo cheap over there at the moment.

Well I thought I would ask because I have the material, no real biggie. My old man could do it but he is in Karratha at the moment and his mill is in NSW. So that doesn't help.

Using a mill isn't expensive, nor is it time consuming for the size of the part I need. It is all good though, ill see if I can get one thrown in with the new tb I will buy for the wrx 2.5.
