Emjay & I have 12 lenses between us now, 8 of them duplicates as we are most often shooting the same events etc. where a specific lens is required. Anyway I thought it would probably be a worthwhile to check them all for focus & I purchased a lens alignment tool mkII for $80.00 from Amazon. http://mtapesdesign.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Well worth the money. While most of our lenses are pretty good, a couple were out....back or front focusing to the full extent of the camera's micro adjustment.
Another utility that I found of interest to check my shutter count, only for Canon I think. http://astrojargon.net/EOSInfo.aspx?Asp ... eSupport=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Lens Alignment
I don't even think I can change the micro adjustment on the 5D. It has been a while since I looked into it though.
