Re: AC won't start
Are you talking about the main menu not loading or the session not loading?
One of the common ones when not able to open a session was incorrect resolution settings in your video settings.

Re: AC won't start
I have never experienced that, you don't get an error displayed I'm assuming otherwise you would of stated it. There's a crash_log folder in the assettocorsa root folder. Does the crash files tell you anything?

Re: AC won't start
Circle thing? Do you mean MS windows busy mouse cursor?
Reinstall sounds like a good idea, I would just copy out any unofficial content incase you don't have them backed up.
Are you sure you haven't updated drivers or changed hardware recently? Besides the wheel ofcourse, which doesn't need to be plugged in to test if AC is working.
Maybe try open some other directx games, see if they open correctly. dxdiag showing ok results?

Re: AC won't start
There's another log folder too...
C:\Users\$USERNAME\Documents\Assetto Corsa\logs
Anything in there giving you a better idea?

Re: AC won't start
This guy was having audio driver issues causing AC to not open http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index ... ues.33382/
Don't give up like this guy though http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index ... ure.32509/
Looking through some of them posts. Looks like some people have had issues with .NET causing AC to not load correctly previously. Your windows is up to date?

Re: AC won't start
Nothing in that logs folder in your user docs?
Apparently you can rename that folder in your user docs and it will be re-created when AC starts next. Maybe try that aswell.

Maybe try starting it up with no controllers/wheels attached.

Re: AC won't start
Have you tried deleting (make a backup first or just rename) your C:\Users\$USERNAME\Documents\Assetto Corsa folder?
I suspect the change of hardware is conflicting with some of your personilised settings... it will just create a new one on next launch of AC with all default settings.
EDIT: Just saw Hylas mentioned doing this earlier, did you do it?

That was in your post, is that what we are looking at or if not, what does that file have in it?
I would try what Duke has re-stated. Rename that folder, see what happens when you try openning AC after that folder has been renamed.

Re: AC won't start
So have you unplugged every USB then tried firing AC?
If that still doesn't work, I'd be grabbing latest drivers from the manufacture sites for all your PC hardware & installing them. Where possible doing a fresh install (deletion of old prior) & not just overwriting. It might also be worth uninstalling & re-installing MS .NET framework as it can get corrupted (although it's unusual).
What a PITA though!!!
