Re: Funky Videos
What a lot of coincidences ...
Still frustrates me that Dambusters film never made it to production. The 1955 one doesn't hold up too well and it's such an extraordinary story I would love to see it retold by a competent film maker. Then again, given how the film industry is it'd probably end up as some Michael Bay shite.

Re: Funky Videos
I am pretty sure I saw a reddit post that pointed out that Star Wars was basically a rip off. But, that could be said of any goodies vs baddies film I suppose. The most original film I have seen is Hercules returns, which basically rips off an old film as it's main premisedurbster wrote:What a lot of coincidences ...

These blokes used to do this act live - I went to a theatre near the law courts in Sydney years ago and they played the Hercules movie but did all the voices live from the back of the cinema. It was hilarious. I think its success led to the movie.

I saw another one like that recently (same technique I suspect). Don't like it.

I think that one was proved to be fake? They do move and shrink in and out, allegedly.

Re: Funky Videos
As far as I can work out there are different coloured versions of each image slightly offset, so while each silhouette doesn't change at all, the colours cycling is enough for your brain to interpret it as movement. If they were all one solid colour we wouldn't perceive any movement.

Re: Funky Videos
The one that I saw with those same images changed in size and direction when you covered the prompting arrows up. The one I saw with those same images blew up reddit for a day or two with people debunking the image as misleading. I'm always skeptical of illusions! I could never see anything in those magic eye pictures!
