Esteban Ocon will not race for Alpine at the season finale in Abu Dhabi
This allows Esteban to be released to Haas to drive in the post-season test, Alpine have confirmed.
Jack Doohan will race instead.

Re: General F1 news
Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone is to sell his collection of race cars driven by motorsport legends including Michael Schumacher, Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet.
Ecclestone, who was in charge of the sport for nearly 40 years until 2017, assembled the collection of 69 iconic F1 and Grand Prix cars over a span of more than five decades.
The collection includes Ferraris driven by world champions Schumacher, Lauda and Mike Hawthorn, as well as Brabham cars raced by Piquet and Carlos Pace, among others.
"All the cars I have bought over the years have fantastic race histories and are rare works of art," said 94-year-old Ecclestone.
Among the cars up for sale is also Stirling Moss' Vanwall VW10, that became the first British car to win an F1 race and the Constructors' Championship in 1958.

That guy has some talent. To jam so much into a graphic that size, fantastic.

Sergio Perez is to leave Red Bull two years before the end of his contract after reaching a termination agreement with the team.
Liam Lawson, who drove six races at the end of 2024 and five during 2023, is said to have been told he would be promoted before the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Frenchman Isack Hadjar, who finished second in Formula 2 this season, is expected to join Racing Bulls alongside Japanese Yuki Tsunoda, who has been overlooked by Red Bull for a seat in the senior team.

Re: General F1 news
That then presumably puts Hadjar in to the Racing Bulls with Tsunoda and if Lawson hasn't delivered by mid season they'll swap them all around!!

Re: General F1 news
Horner said Lawson had slightly better race pace and showed good adaptability when he was dropped in to the car first time in the wet and went and did GT racing and slotted right in on the pace.
Maybe he also has better setup feedback than Yuki. And there is also the possibility that he likes the car set up the same way Max does being very pointy which Perez certainly didn't and will be a good start for them.

It would be appreciated, but given the lack of activity on these forums, I think I wont bother renewing whenever that pops up.
