I couldn't do it. I thought I gave him more than enough room and apparently not.

I was sitting on the grid at a 30-45 degree angle. :eyepop: That was a little strange

Yep postpone.. for now..

Yesterday I noted that there was a dedicated linux server, I decided to test that on a new lower cost server.. That's what we started on..

Then when it crashed during Qually i switched to the server we ran the Lotus @ Nurbergring.. it crashed :(

Not quite sure what to do now :(

Yeah I looked back and thought something was up. :eyepop:

Maybe we just need to wait for the net code to be a bit (read, a lot) more stable.

Other than that, it was great fun to be back racing again.

Use the windows version, it hasn't missed a beat in the xgn league, and we race it every week at least once.

p.s. I think we run it on a cpu intensive instance, which also got better networking.

That's the first issue we've had with a server going down. So we'll see.

If you're going to pull out of a race, please don't do it on the racing line if you can avoid it

Shame about the server issues :(

Need slipstreaming for these cars.

It's better than last time I hopped on LFS where I would eventually drop out, so that's okay.

Was there no slipstreaming? I had a stupidly low downforce setting which might explain why I caught everyone on the straights but lost them into Stowe

Ok, with SOO3 on next week maybe we put it back a fortnight..

The server during the race WAS the windows version.. maybe there is a bug in the update this week.. does XGN update the dedicate code.. maybe that's my mistake :(

I'm very sorry guys about the ping issue I wasn't even aware of it you all seemed normal to me , That said I have just found out my 11 year old was uploading a 850 meg file to youtube ...

If that happens again please let me know and I will bail or fix I must have done 30 odd laps in practice and qualifying and no one mentioned it , shoot me a text via facebook if possible ?

Sorry again I know how much of a piss off it is for all of us.

All good, I think a few of us mentioned it in the chat before the start of the race. It just seemed to spiral up and up.
