I got the launcher back when it first appeared and wasn't a forced option. Never had a problem with the small updates, they take about 30mins most of the time.

And the problem is not at my end.Not a big deal just a little frustrating is this day and age of high speed broadband that we have here in Australia .

Richo, Just to confirm what you were saying I moved my installed game and reinstalled.

Installed game version : none (latest 296). Launcher version 6.
Downloading game update pCars_0249_0_build_10_pre-alpha_PC-EXT_SFX.exe

30mins has gone past and 72.6MB of 3.40GB.

But it isn't the internet in Aus that is the issue, but where the files are stored and located, as bandwidth isn't free slower transfers are common, I agree with you though there is slow and then there is slow..That is where the Torrent updates come in use and good speeds are available.

That's the wrong version anyway isn't it? We are on 311 as of yesterday.

That was what it was auto downloading.

Could be that was the latest main file pack then just smaller updates from there to get current version.

Full members and above get to try multiplayer now.

Seems pretty good so far however there is nothing implemented in terms of player timing other than personal lap times. No real end to any race session until you leave.

Have been loving the new tyre model and racing some laps around bathurst online. Be good to actually meet up with a few aussies or even people who can race a clean lap but beggers can't be choosers.

How did he pronounce it? It's essentially "why-ra".

With the inflection of a retard, he didnt actually pronounce it at all and I find myself doing the same.

Thanks for the correction though :)

I prefer the Zonda over the Huayra in this. I like the V12 sound and like the way the old girl feels.

Haha, I see. To be fair to JC, I didn't hear the proper pronunciation until journos actually got a drive of it (and even they made a point of it) so I presume most of the motoring press was told about it then.

Hope some of you guys are looking at CARS as it's getting there , MP is pretty good and the range of cars is increasing all the time with some great tracks too.

The Zakspeed Capri is looking good and drives well for a new release .

I can't seem to get it on my version

They reached their funding goal so if you don't have it by now you have to wait till next year now to play.

Updated it today and had a couple of runs online, both times i got taken out. 2nd race was a pretty decent one until the last lap i was having a battle with a bloke and he made a mistake so i jumped to the inside and he didnt like that idea and just smashed into me knocking 2 of my wheels off lol. I just don't get why you would do something stupid like that
