So, a couple of things to share

1 - I am blogging my car. Only started with the things I have done lately but I will add some back stories over time.

found here:

http://www.stuartthorp.com/blog

I have also done my first ever youtube vids too. I made up a cold air intake for the car so I figured some before and after vids would be good too. I even did commentary for those who have never heard my voice before :D

the parts. yes that is a dunny part. made it into my firewall grommet. I took pity on the lady at the plumbing section at Bunnings who asked if she could help with whatever I was working on.

all fitted and complete.

Nice one - the Mania intake was my first mod to the car. Not much of a difference performance wise, but it does make a good noise :)

Looking good!

I've thought about getting a wheel, but the standard one has an airbag in it.

And legally you can't replace a wheel that has an airbag in it.

You could have told her the truth... you have been commisioned by Ross Brawn to develop a secret intake system for MGP.

Stu's definitely gotta be in the running for the next Top Gear host, unfortunately that means a one season Gig. Then he can retire and take up a job of sitting next to me bedside and reading me Thomas the Tank Engine classic as I slowly fall asleep in bliss.
