Why let a bloke past his best play himself back into some sort of form on flat decks against shit bowling when you could have a young bloke, you know, like Ponting once was, in there scoring runs and building confidence. And I am not talking about Marsh. Khawaja got 6 tests. Just seems stupid to me. I know the blokes who would take one up the date from Punter wont agree, but I am fucking right. :D
There's 200 reasons why you are so wrong

They guy has never been out of form. Sometimes you have a bad trot. Some last long enough to get through it and some get dumped. With any luck this will free him to play like he can and we can enjoy it.

I wouldn't take it up the date from Punter but I'd have Steve Waughs babies :D

Khawaja did get a chance and while he didn't fail he didn't set the world on fire either so it is partly his own fault to. Of course it would of been helpful to not have to bat at 3 and to get to play on a pitch like this but he will be given another shot.

Butter fingers Cowan could be really critical on this pitch.

Sehwag should give another 3 chances before stumps going on form. :)

Only needed one more! Siddle Test player of the season? Could almost call himself a bowling all rounder to given his average exceeds Sehwag and Dravid I think.

Piddle, outstanding today. Bent his back and bowled great.

Kholi's hundred was great, but what gets the thumbs up was the anger in his 100 celebration. He might have some fire in his belly.

He's a good player. They need to retire the top order and get some young players in.

When was the last time a bowler, well 2 Aussie bowlers, took more wickets than a batsman made runs (Marsh) in a 4 Test series?

I didn't expect us to win that series so easily. I knew India were shit in England but after last summer I didn't know where our test team stood. I still don't really. England and South Africa will show how good we are. As for India well they need to take a broom through that top order and sweep them out. Dravid, the bowled, and Very Very Shit Laxman will be put out to pasture now.

Was at the Adelaide Oval yesterday, and Kohli and VVS were looking very secure until the ground PA announced that entry for Day 5 would be free. No doubt the batsmen heard this, they then proceeded to do some very very strange things. An absolute master stroke by CA! Totally messed with their heads!

A loss like that was on the cards since the beginning of the series, the batsmen don't seem like they're able to assess the situation and bat accordingly. Early wickets followed by consistent wickets throughout the innings is always going to lead to low totals.
