I haven't even started the Fezza skin so I'm more than happy for you to make this our official skin for Tue's XGN battle. You up for doing that?
I'm busy tonight, but I can certainly have this skin up to the cobra's standard by Sunday, I'm going for "BT20 meets HF1000"
Cool mate, if you need a hand with anything let me know.
Would you like me to tackle the driver skin for it so you can concentrate on the car?

Maybe replace the yellow with white to match it up with the Cobra and give it less of a lotus vibe?

You should also find it as "Steam Comminity ID" in Documents\Assetto Corsa\log\log.txt

I can't drive atm due to a cyst in my armpit. Hopefully it'll be better by tuesday. Or Monday so I can at least practice the gt2.

I changed it to Bails A1 so you could find it easier

I reckon I can manage a bit of work on the skin, don't expect anything too flash though, the Fezza is the main priority, if XGN can see our drivers then we're going too slow!

Edit #2: Just had a quick trip down to Silverstone and I happened to see this in the pits:

I never actually thought of that...

To save on a double post, progress on the Ferrari:
Nosecone is now updated to remove the "Lotus" look

and the rear end has the perfect spot for our logo

The design isn't done yet, I'm going to add some flair to those lines under the race numbers.
Suit wise Helmet is done, just need to ARSE-ify the race suit.

Tks Darren, that's excellent.

30min Qual, if I need that long then I'm doing something wrong... damn!!!
Also what's with no damage??? Although sometimes that's a good thing I suppose, when you're the innocent party.

If you want to see your design scuffed up, that's your choice (mind you, I just totalled the ARSE Ferrari in a practice race, end over end three times!)

I was trying to "modernise" my very basic design, so I re-did all the side paint so the design is flawless and then I got carried away, so far I really enjoy this design and it might just be time to add some limted sponsorship to the beast.
Image
And here's the head protection, though I might just make the lower half white now, depends.
Image
And to those from XGN looking here, notice the lack of middle fingers on the car, I'd put something on the car but we'll be so far ahead it won't matter! ;D

EDIT:
Finished the damn thing!
After a monster 12-hour session (because I kept re-painting the car in the most tedious way possible!) I reckon this is as good as done.
A mix of modern and classic design, I present the ARSE vs XGN Ferrari 458 GT2 (and yes, that is the name of it!)
Image
And as far as messages for the boot go, I think this is all we need to put the XGN boys into a cold sweat
Image
it was either that or "Bails is on the track" :D
Image

EDIt #2:
Racesuit is done!
We've got the suit, pit board
Image
and pit crew!
Image

I'll wait and get some opinions/any ideas for changes before I package this up.

Excellent stuff Bails I'll be proud driving the ARSE Fezza come Tues night. I love the old school text logo on the front splitter. :aussie:
My only suggestion is why not have our pit crew in the same colours/design as the driver suite, I reckon the plain black & white looks great. ;)
Also I can't quite tell but what is the logo above the Castrol on the doors, is it Bell (Helmets)?
Finally I'm thinking if it's alright with you that I try put the "ARSE vs XGN 1000" logo on the Cobra, if so can you send me it in a usable format?

Yes it's Bell Helmets, The best money I ever spent for racing was buying a Bell, saved my head a few times now!
And I'll link the "1000" decal right here, you want to use it, you can.

Now the set is complete, Prac and Qual at Silverstone are going to have the best looking pit bays around!

So do we have final car skin links?

Also, are TC and ABS banned? (I hope so)

Can I also ask about setups? (maybe sent through PM)

TC and ABS are on factory settings, guys.
The damage is just a bit dickey for my liking (aka don't touch my windscreen)!

I have a practice server up XGN ARSE Challenge Practice, mostly to check that you can get onto the server with just your GUID (no password required).

XGN have gone with a Hello Kitty motif. At least they'll be easy to spot.

I fixed some GUIDs that had spaces in front, including yours, Astro. Server's restarted with a fixed entry list. Darren's may have had a space in front of it too. I've got the same GUID as I had for you before.

And another thing:

We use a dynamic track grip. At the start of the qualifying session, the track grip will randomly be between 94 and 96%. Then it grips up to 100% (1% per 24 cars doing a lap). Then the race will start at 98% grip and grip up at the same rate (so it will be at full grip after a couple of laps).

Decided to do a trailer for the races, nothing flash, just a big 427 doing some skids.
