Did some practice on other tracks.
Bathurst is by far, the most interesting track...

Yup. Might even try and get it going myself.
If we need it I have a server at 203.217.17.118, pw: arse

Would be good to have an official arse server to encourage more to use it, but that one can stay up as long as it's needed.

"Converison" is a loose term, The guy who converted it made the Lada.
But until a decent bathurst comes out that's all we've got.

Ok, installed TS and connected. Would be great if someone could jump on and see if it is working before 8pm.

Well that was awesome!

Thanks to Bails, Darren, woodsy, goop and I think Richo dived in just when I bailed out. Some screenies tomorrow.

I havent laughed like that for ages.

Teamspeak certainly adds something to the experience. Thanks for the server Darren.

Was only there for one race, but good fun. Was even leading for a bit, right before it pogo'ed magestically into the barrier.

Cheers

Got some good shots of one of our races, sadly not the one where I did this three times:
Image
Rather, I got what I think is our third race, where I won the "flinty award" for this move:

Goop (pogo) gave his ride a workout

With me narrowly missing him when he spun:
I was going to hit him, but I missed..

With the amount of screenshots I'm sure I could do a different ARSEoff poster for every round!
Overall it was a great night, with a lot of dirty racing, cheating and a destruction derby at Maigone.
Thanks to Norbs, Pogo, Woodsy, Boxhead, Darren and Richard (Who turned up as we all left!) for making this night a damn-good event.
And to cap it all off, a highlights video:

Look at the drivers head. LOL

Holy shit that was awesome last night.

The funny thing is, once we sort of got the argey bargey out of our systems, we raced. Still with shortcuts and shenanigans, but we were getting competitive.

Hey, and fuck you Marshy for snatching a win on the last lap of that race at Magione. I don't care that I had a 30 second lead :D I did a Sam Power and stopped at the end of lap 2. :)

Starting back there worked well. Meant when you guys all ran into each other I could just weave my way through :p

Really fun car to drive now that it has some suspension. Need to find some more short tracks :)

I got a bit bored with 4 cars and left but sounds like that was almost as silly as my driving!

Yeah, the handling and sound are so much more enjoyable now.

Was only there for a couple of races, but had fun - in spite of crying bloody tears with the low framerate and general eye-blistering awfulness of my screen. Might need to look into getting a desktop again.

It runs against the grain a bit taking shortcuts and the general ram-a-thon, but excellent fun on a friday night :hyper:
