So I didn't like the look of the crummy looking blue battery, so i did a bit of painting again, then whipped out the ol' vinyl cutter and made up some stickers. Its nothing spectacular, but looks better than the blue.

Ah HZ, why couldn't you be in Melb. I would have had you do the old man's XR8 engine covers and shit. He has been dying to get it done.

it crossed my mind to. Maybe that's why Shaun doesn't have the EEPSKOOL Club Virgin tag anymore.

serious?? i think those BOSS stickers look ace there.. i cant help feeling like it needs just a little schpoila though... just to break the shape up a little.

PS shaun what camera/lens are you using for those shots.. look cool, but seems a little soft... or slightly missed focus.

the Boss 260 may go, but only to be replaced with Boss 463..lol.. hehe. I was actually toying with the idea of getting some airbrushing done there. I dunno.

And I just paid a shiteload to get the Spoiler removed. lol. Maybe a Force Bootlip may go on there in the future, but most likely not. Most the cosmetics are done, now come the Engine Mods.

bought a heap of new stuff for the car this week including a 80mm throttle body, intake snorkel, Custom lowered springs as well as a new set of GT front shockers and some Herrod Resinators to get that quad tip look.

Today i put the TB on...
Image

I have noticed instant gains with this. Probably more so than i expected. Seems to achieve max revs so much quicker.

also chucked the snorkel on as well however it is now back off the car so i can polish it tomorrow. Had to make some mods to make this fit. Had to cut the ECU support & also have to cut provisions in the ECU cover, which is why it is not on the car in the pics. Also will have to get a silicone elbow to fit on to the standard Filter.

here tis
Image

I hope to have a crack at the springs on friday. Been told the front end on these are a pain in the arse to change the shocks. But i like a challenge.

Nice looking car HZ :)

With regards to the boot-lip, i reckon it would look horn with it on there, the big power-bulge on the bonnet looks a little out of place with the stock, smooth lines of the boot, the Lip would even things out well.

In other news, im gonna be getting myself a new car on the weekend too! a Ford Focus ST170, rare as Hen's teeth! :D

They're a pretty fun car from what I hear. Not ball tearing performance by any means but good fun through the twisty stuff. :tilt:
