I found it really difficult to gauge what I should be doing by going before you guys. Normally I see your times as a reference and know how hard I need to push on the next stage and wether risks are necessary. I felt relatively slow throughout the whole rally, I only had one accident the whole time and it was a super soft head on which I managed to back up and rejoin the track with maybe ( seconds lost max.
But yeah, it definitely threw me, not knowing where I was in regards to pace

I just played road sweeper for Sweden. If you drive slow and conservative you should blitz my times as I kept clipping snow banks, spinning, 89 point turns ect...

If it works for you, do your run monday night. I dont know if it makes a difference for me I just push hard now with a number of guys able to take a win but i found just keeping it back a bit on the really fast parts (when you cant see much or theres a lot of crests) helps to keep me on the road.
Sweden is a totally different beast though, i think more caution is needed as i lost a lot of time last rally we did there thanks to banks turning me around.

I've had a slow but OK run, only one bank-spin. Managed to beat you Dr.Pain by a bit, however Dr.Flattop has set blistering times for the first 4 or so sections. Are you going to finish there, Bruce?

Have you guys ever tried the monthly online event?
It's an enduro rally (paris dakar?) basically you race through all the different locations.
I've finished it yesternight, and I'm in position 134. Me. I can only imagine where you guys would finish

My record is around 35th in a month long Group B series, mind you, I was sweating blood and pissing pure adrenaline trying to win on those stages.

Fairly happy with my run in Sweden. I felt like I was being possessed by Colin McCrae at times, literally no idea how I was pulling off some sections. Other moments of reduced concentration thanks to all the white screwing with my eyes and I made more of my usual mortal mistakes. I loved the narrow left 3 into right 2 style corner sections keeping it away from the banks. Stage 3's snow I did not enjoy so much!

I've missed it by the looks. The current monthly event is 24 stages in Group B at Finland. Holy shit, 1 stage was enough! Brilliant cars but what a handful around there

I did my weekly entry and realised I really like finland. I was running great till the 3rd section, I got too cocky after that, I've started pushing. Paid the price. A number of times
by the way, new monthly rally is up.

Like wise ysu, last stage 2 flats early on, so down 90 secs lost and still limping on. 3 and the rim!

We should do something. I don't running stuff we've done before as I still have so much to learn in terms of driving in this game. I don't think I've ever master it but there's enjoyment in trying.

Maybe not on the WRC sized events like we ran at the end of the last championship, but certainly a few "club" sized events in small cars.
Like 3 short courses and a low power car.

1960's and 1970's club events would be good. Also got to have a group B bash because you have too
First up, a 5 stage stand alone event at Greece.
1960's vehicles
1 week to complete
Starts this Thursday 24th 12am
Ends Thursday 31st 9pm Radelaide time
Thanks to Bails for the combo and motivation

Sounds good, although I hate greece It should really not be the first one, hey, I need to dust off wheel & pedals & skills alike.

I know, that's why it's the first one, eat your veggies and I'll provide steaks and beer for the rest of the series.

Bad, really bad! I don't know how I finished after nailing a big rock when I was told NOT to cut. Had no headlights in the final stage and I swear I can taste Greek dirt!

No headlights in either night stage, and couldn't get the hairpins to save my life. Still 5 minutes ahead of the good Doctor
