My Nissan S15 Silvia
Made a post about it last week.
But here is a bit of info on my new car for those who are intrested
Its a Nissan 200SX (ie. siliva) S15 Spec S GT.
Brought it for $24,500, 75,000km full service history and stock as a rock.
Ordered an exhaust, going to throw a intercooler on it in the next week or two as well, should be able to bump the stock 144kw up to ~180kw when you up the boost alittle.

Always had a soft spot for 200's, prefer the curves of the s14 more myself, but you have got a bloody clean example there, looks nice!

Nice set of wheels.
Good to know what the going rate is. I am going to be selling my car soon, (200SX S15 Spec-R 65,000K) I was expecting to get less than that for it.

Re: New Car [No 56k]
If its a manual, then you should get 25-27ish~ (in Brisbane, might be different down there)
That being said, I know I could have got a non GT/Import for cheaper then that, but in the end I wanted quality and I knew I picked the right car. So it might take you some time to sell it

If you take it on a track day make sure you have a good set of brake pads. Most important thing and costs sweet f all.

Re: New Car [No 56k]
Seeing people have been doing it, ill update you all.
Now seeing I couldnt leave it running around standard, ive gone out and done the first lot of performance modifications on it.
Picked up a Apexi Stainless exhaust system, and a dump pipe.. its got a really nice sound to it, also went out and brought a greddy FMIC, plus Pod/bov.
All up went from 122kw at the wheels to ~165kw according to teh gteck (so yea take that result as you will).
Next up is Boost Controller, then ill buy some coilovers for when I start hitting the track and just about call it done.. tho one day might go for some nice wheels like this http://speedhunters.com/archive/2008/07 ... l-s15.aspx

Re: New Car [No 56k]
Hey nutty, is the car turbo from the factory? I noticed you say its a spec s in the top post. Over here in NZ, the Spec S model is a non turbo.

Re: New Car [No 56k]
Yep it is, all Australian delivered models are turbo from the factory, the difference between the spec S/R is basically the R comes with a few extras.

Re: New Car [No 56k]
sounds sweet. Good on ya for doing a build thread too. I did mine just so i had a record for myself. But if others enjoy it then good. Keep updating yours, I'm definitely interested on how this will all pan out.

Re: New Car [No 56k]
Sure thing, ill keep updating the thread when I do more.
Current plans are
HDI Boost Controler to go in soon.
Looks like this
Thats it for performance for awhile, time to work on the handling of it.
Ill grab some Tein flex coilovers to start with
http://www.tein.com/products/flex.html
Then its the wheel choice, which is the hardest of them all.. ill throw up some pics later on wouldnt mind someone with some skills to photoshoping
