Re: Armstrong confirms Tour comeback
I wonder if he will follow Bruyneel to Astana? They sound like they didn't know he was planning it. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?id= ... /sep09news
I wonder who would get the top spot at Astana if he goes there? Contador or Armstrong?
Be good to see. Who is next? I say bring back the Cannibal!![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Re: Armstrong confirms Tour comeback
If you can find the motivation, and can get a bike down here, sign up for the Tour Down Under Challenge Tour and ride the Friday stage for yourself before watching the pros cross the line. Well worth it in my opinion!
I've done it the last 2 years and will be signed up for next years!
Cheers,

All I have to say is that Cadel would be spewing over this news. I can't wait. He is as close to Eddy as we have seen in a long time, although Eddy won everything. Lance seemed to only concentrate on the Tour.

Re: Armstrong confirms Tour comeback
My wife has told me that the Today show mentioned there is a hot rumour (unconfirmed) that Contador is also likely to come down for this.
If that is the case the '09 TDU will be ground breaking for Cycling in AUS, as if it wasn't already with Lance's announcement.
I wonder though how will the team Astana dynamics work with a 7 time TDF winner and the current Grand Tour star in the same team next year.
Dare I say this but "Cadel" who.

Re: Armstrong confirms Tour comeback
Perhaps Lance wont be there at all. All depends on the level of anti-doping Lance has undertaken in the last six months.
