The manliest car on ARSE?

Post by durbster »

Right, money where your mouth is time :D

I'm putting forward my new car, the already-labelled-as-girly Daihatsu Fourtrak :p
Image

For the following reasons:
1. It's designed to work on farms
2. It'll pull 3.5 tonnes
3. It's a bit uncomfortable
5. It's got hay in the back

What you got?

It's white. It's RWD. It's got big and wide wheels. It's got ///M badges. It's a family sedan. So nope, not the manliest car on ARSE.

Cool yes, but surely something that's stylish and fashionable can't also be manly can it?

Maybe I have an old-fashioned view of these things :D

Mine's a BF and red so it's even more manly than this but do you really need any more evidence? It's a V6, RWD, has a metal tray and carries a tonne in the back.

Only two driven wheels!?

A car definitely needs power going to all four wheels if it's going to be manly. We don't need a couple of wheels just limply rolling along being told what to do. :D

Plus with 4WD there are at least twice the number of differentials, and differential is a manly word.

Ah yes, I see the confusion now durbs... :)

You are using the more recent developed "Newey-Barnard-Chapman" measurment system of manliness of a motor vehicle, where the more technical a vehicle is, which renders it a complete mystery to women so they have no way of fixing it with power tools and spanners and screw drivers and stuff, thus making it more manly... then you are possibly well out ahead under such a system...

However if you were to use the tried and tested "Mick-Johnno-Dave-Bazza" manliness measurement system of what calibre of female your vehicle attracts thus making you more manly for attracting a better quality of mate, then you may struggle just a tad...

Using the "M-J-D-B" system one can conclude....

As a Diahatsu Rocky owner you can aspire to a maximum of a busty red headed curvy girl dressed like old mother hubbard complete with grass stains on her underwear because she can't remember who she was with or were she ended up after her 3rd fist fight at the pub last night

Which is slighter better than the MX5 which has a maximum rating of a man named Gaston dressed in black leggins, black skivvy, a gold bracelet, carrying a Gucci bag and a riders whip

Kev however can look forward to Venezualan supermodel twin sisters who have just gone the last 24 hours without sex and are ripe for picking flagging him down at every traffic lights he is forunate enough to stop at...

This is why on initial reaction I susgested kev was well out ahead...

But you make a good point.... apparently :D

Cmon, who here has an old beat up Hilux? That's surely a winner.

Oh, one other thing. I've worked out. Most girls know fuck all about cars. My black shiney lancer with nice rims may as well be an evo X for all they know. Most of them judge cars on appearance anyway, and most of them would consider a WRX Sti a cocks car because it's too over the top looking. I've had hot chicks at work comment on my car saying "wow what a babe magnet!". Essentially it's just a stock lancer. But not sure this has anything to do with the manliness of a car or not. Does the increased chances of impressing ladies with your car correlate with its manliness rating?

Is a Ferrari manly? Does a Toyota troopy beat it?
