Best one I have seen on a bmx with the ripped jeans got hammered, he's rips in the bottom of the leg got caught in the wheel and he came to a sudden stop and slid and hit a pole.

The Lemond/Fignon battle was a classic Lemonds time trial speed average is still the record I think .

this does it for me. I test rode a lower spec Genius LT around xmas time while I was looking at the Stumpjumpers.. ooh boy, it pedals like a hardtail, then takes hits better than Rihanna. I reckon the Genius LT 10 is around the 7.5k mark here in Aus, one day.... one day...

i haven't been in cycling long enough to drool over bikes yet, they are still just things to ride. I'm sure that'll change at some point and my wife will be very unhappy as i get the wants

It was about the the 3 to 4 month stage for me. I think once you start understanding more, and knowing products and brands, it all steamrolls. A year ago I thought there were Cross Country Bikes, Jump bikes and Downhill bikes, turns out there are about another 18 or so categories in between. If I get a roadie, there is a whole lot more to learn, and it starts again. But hey, riding is now my main hobby. It took over everything else pretty quick too.

The solution there is to avoid threads like this, magazines etc

It's the same with camera gear. Keep reading photography forums etc and you start getting equipment envy. I prefer to remain oblivious until I'm not liking what I have or it's not doing what I'd like to do.

If it's your main hobby then it's understandable though.

Cycling is like many other past times... an accessory sport. The more you have the more you want.

I'd class that as bike porn J.D. . You would have to be happy if you bought yourself one of those . Felts are a first class bike . Love the colour scheme on that one too .
Forgot to say this before , the Looks are magnificent

I just like the way that bike is built. The joins look really well reinforced. I'd eventually prefer some different wheels* but I'd keep the tyres for the colour!

Right now I'm on a bet with myself to lose some weight. If I reach my target I'll buy myself a present.

What do you think of Argon 18 bikes Mr Leisure? There's one called the Krypton with full Ultegra groupset which interests me...

The Argon 18s look very nice J.D. , I was checking out a few in the shop this afternoon . I've only ever seen a couple out on the road though and I havn't read any reviews on them .

There's a shop not 100 metres from my front door which sells Colnago. He's had to wipe the drool off the window a few times, I'm sure...
