Yeah timing bar. They all have it if you look close enough.
There were some French can can girls. I'll dig out the pic I took. There was only one around when I was in the pits.

Maybe longer shutter times in the panning ones is the only thing I would have liked. But that takes some practise.

Any suggested numbers? I took most at 1/320. I tried a couple at 125 and 250 but they weren't very good but like you say I think it's practice more than anything.

That's only about 20% of what I shot! I took plenty of crap shots But that's the thing with digi cameras, you can just snap away all day and then have a look at the best results later. Not like the old 35mm days when you take 28 pics, wait for them to be developed and then find they're all out of focus
