And that's a great example of when perceptions get the better of your mind

To explain; there is less chance for you to die (or be) in a plane crash than in a car accident or even just walking on the road, or getting electrocuted at home, etc...I'm sure there are a lot of other incidents which are more frequent and look less scary. Don't worry it's not just you, it's the way the human mind works.

That Emirates shot looks insane!!!

Went to the landing approach of Adelaide Airport with a friend this morning to try out his new Nickoff lens. I shot these with my trusty Tokina 11-16mm.

This is a flamed German Albatros shot down in WW1. Looks like the pilot opted to go splat rather than burn to death first. Edit: or was already deceased and ejected from his falling plane.

Edit 2: It seems the picture was a hoax.
