Nearly an hour of quality entertainment on that car. Smashes what Top Gear were able to do out of the park. I don't think Jeremy is going to lose his bet either unless something "happens".

That kid from McLaren has it. Piss off all that bullshit, telemetry, Playstation fucking crap and let em drive the motherfucking cars and actually have to adapt to changing conditions as they do so.

It's VERY hard to get a road closed anywhere but the Isle of Man. There's one point where he meets another motorist.

That's a shame however I will have no issues forking out that amount for 12 months. Great content at a reasonable price!

I think this is something we'll see more and more of. I'm not sure I watch enough Drive videos to pay for it but I think I'll see how it looks a few months after launch and decide from there.

I hope it works out for them. Consumers are starting to realise that getting everything for free means the quality is low so I think people are just about ready to start paying for good content. The trust issues that plagued the early days of the internet are fading too. I've been dead against any kind of subscription until fairly recently (even my phone is pay as you go), but now I'm all for it. Spotify was probably the breakthrough for me in that regard.

I happily give over the $12 a month (or whatever it is) for Spotify. It's slowly taking over as my main source of music... Specially after I realised I can download everything I want and use it all in 'offline mode'.

I'm sure there are plenty of track videos from owners driving their cars very fast without the chatter interrupting things. Those will do.
And I'll happily fork over the money to watch an entertaining, experienced and enthusiastic journo who knows what he's on about talk about nice cars that I can only dream of driving. Horses for courses.

Yes, but the problem with those is they're all really boring. There's a reason video editing is a skilled profession.

Well if the Drive+ piece on the La Ferrari is anything to go by then the subscription isn't worth it. It was by far the worst piece they've done in recent times in my opinion.
