Every second Wednesday I have dinner at the in-laws... but I can see I'll be skipping it on the 10th. :D

So far, prac in the Fezza and M3 has shown that even in my hands, the Fezza is faster.
Soft tyres drop off after about 3-4 laps for M3 and 458 and 100L of fuel will last the Fezza 30-odd laps.

Thanks to poor planning I now have two cars ready for the enduro, if you're intrested in running in the Bardahl BMW, drop me a line.

And yes, that is the ARSE vs XGN Ferrari, just a bit darker and with less decals.

No practice for me yet so no idea what car I will eventually choose to run but plan to use something I haven't raced as yet...

Not that I hold much weight to these, especially given we are doing a 2hr enduro but they still make for interesting reading...

I had already decided to run a GT3 given I spent the GT series in a GT2 already & I find the GT2 Fezza too mundane & unexciting in many ways.
So I finally did some testing last night & I'm torn between the SLS & the MP4/12C.
I find the McLaren is easier to drive than the SLS which could be beneficial in a 2hr race as I think fatigue could play a big part down the stretch for many of us.
My lap times are only 3 tenths off each other with the SLS slightly ahead but it's interesting to see how the 2 make their lap-time. The SLS is quicker down the straights but the McLaren can brake later & get through the corners faster... more testing tonight before I make a final decision.

Hello everyone!! After a few months on the sidelines, I finally managed to get around to fixing my steering wheel and she is ready to go!! Now as it has been a while since I have played AC online I have numerous questions in regards to pit stops...
1. This may sound very stupid, but how do you choose your options for the pit stop such as tyre compound and amount of fuel? Is it done before the race or as you enter pit lane.
2. In regards to pit lane speed, do you have to manually slow down to the 80km/h limit or can you just gun it to the line like the codemasters F1 games?
3. Is there any pit window (must pit between say laps 25-35 of the race) or can you pit whenever you like?
4. Once you have entered pit lane, does the AI take over or do you still have to control speed limit?

Can't wait to race everyone again! :)

Done in pitlane at your pitbox, once stopped you are presented with a GUI overlay to pick what you want to do, change tyres/compound, add fuel, fix damage.
2. In regards to pit lane speed, do you have to manually slow down to the 80km/h limit or can you just gun it to the line like the codemasters F1 games?
Sadly pitspeed / limiter is still all automatic, can gun it.
3. Is there any pit window (must pit between say laps 25-35 of the race) or can you pit whenever you like?
Nope, pit when you like.
4. Once you have entered pit lane, does the AI take over or do you still have to control speed limit?
Speed controlled automatically but you have to steer & stop in the highlighted pitbox.
Can't wait to race everyone again! :)
I suggest you jump onto a server, start a race & do a pit, you'll get it as soon as you do one. ;)

It's the day before the race and as usual I'm yet to do some practice... So this basically means I'll be on tonight trying to get a reasonable setup going for tomorrow. Will the server be available tonight? Wouldn't mind practicing with others if anyone's interested.

Also just a quick question as to the requirements of the race. It states that we must do at least 1 pit stop. It doesn't state if we must change tyres and fuel. So are we free to choose what we like i.e just fuel?

Sorry I couldn't commit to joining this race. I love enduros.

I'm on-call for work and its been a shitty week for middle-of-the-night calls.
