Righty was very generous and paid for the TS server for the past year, but that 12 months is up and I just signed up to a new server for 24 months. It was $150 for 2 years, so if you find you have a few extra bucks around, send it through on payPal or PM me and i will send you my bank account details.

Aww man, I would of happily hosted it. That's a lot of money for something as simple as voice comms.

Yeah, but it means if there are issues, we go to TS, not have to try and find you if you are out rooting.

Your server's port number will change
You and your users will no longer need to use a port to connect to your server

i don't know if it's relevant but my son and his mates use Discord to chat to each other while playing online. We used it the other day and it seems pretty good, main bonus being it's free, it runs on Win, OSX, Linux, Android, iOS or even from the browser. https://discordapp.com/features

Yeah mate it's the way to go these days. However we might as well stick with TS3 until it expires otherwise it's wasted money. But I agree, once TS3 comes up for renewal then we should move over to discord.

Ts is free for small organisations/communities like arse. I've registered for a free ts licence with xgn last year.
