Personally my year was ok but I'm still saddened by Prince and Bowie leaving.

LMAO! Subtle.

Sorry you didn't have a great one Doc, bring on 2017.

I too, actually had a really positive 2016! Hoping for more of the same in 2017.

Happy 2017 from someone still in 2016.

What made it a turd for me was my mum got a blood infection mid year so didn't know if she would live for 3 days. Had a long recovery with months on antibiotics. It could come back anytime it seems and they don't know why.

If 2016 was my worst year, I'm a happy man.
Business has never been better, the car is a joy, so I'm content.

Wish you guys the best for 2017!

Happy 2017 everyone. Hope it brings you all good things.

Bit of a rough start for me, my nana passed away this morning. She was 96, so not a bad dig. She is one of only 3 people I still talk to that have known me my whole life. So that stings a bit. But she wanted to shuffle on for a couple of years now, so I am glad she is at peace.

2016 was a bit of an average year for me.

Started the year with a new job which has been interesting. Mid year, mum passed away after a number of years of illness.

But we're all happy and healthy, so that has to count for something.

2016 was awesome for me...other than a nasty hand injury at the beginning of the year.
I bought a Toyota Coaster bus which we used heaps and we did 25 race meetings...should have been 31 but we had some rain-outs.

Life just keeps getting better. Bring on 2017.

Sorry to hear that Norbs :(

I had a great 2016 with the arrival of our boy. Looking forward watching him grow, and to pushing myself more in 2017 work and fitness wise so I'm really looking forward to it.

Hope it's a great year for all the ARSE's.

Sorry for your loss Norbs,
I had a pretty up and down year myself, lost my 97 year-old Grandfather to cancer, he was blissfully unaware of anything wrong until the doctors found that he was essentially full of cancer and then it was five months of hell when he realised that he would spend the rest of his life in hospitals and nursing homes so he decided to go quietly during one of his many ambulance trips back to the hospital.
Then I did a classic Bails move and sliced the back of my left index finger clean open.
Got myself a decent full-time job at Ford, then people stopped buying Fords and I was back out on my Arse before I ended up spending the last seven weeks living out of a caravan in Warracknabeal.

So the year got better as it went along anyway, have to see where we all end up in 2017 now.
