Format:
Qualifying 20 Minutes - Starts at 8pm AEST
Race 90 Minutes - Starts at 8:30pm AEST

Drivers do not need to move out of the way on blue flags, it's up to the faster car to make a clean pass
setups are free
no allocated skins
Damage 100%
Fuel and tires 100%
Pit strategy as you see fit
Points awards per class

Yep, they can do it if they are smart about it, and 100% should make them think twice about a dumb move. It's what the rule is in WEC, so we basically just lifted it from them. Went okay in testing until the Dr. decided to "test" it on Norbs lol

The LMP1 cars will get damaged bad if they hit someone, so will be a lengthy pit stop for repairs.

Norbs wanted to come test my face after it

But I plan to call out my moves so I don't hit anyone. I think if we all do it then it should all go fine.

Yes, they were there in testing and if you were a crappy slow driver like me who regularly gets lapped, you'd also see them

Absolutely. DO NOT MOVE OFF YOUR LINE WHEN LMP1's ARE APPROACHING. It is much much easier to overtake when you stick to your line and are predictable. Moving offline makes your lines different, braking points different etc etc. It becomes impossible to predict where you are going.

You know it's important when it's shouted!

It is so easy to pass the GT3 cars, the onus should be on the LMP1 cars to pass. I cant think of too many spots that you would be stuck behind them.

If in doubt, punt them out.

What about a GT car lapping another GT car? Yes it will happen.

I think the rules cover this clearly

You guys ready to go racing against me in my unprepared 0 lap practice McLaren?

If I jump on when I get home at like 17:30, will the server be online and set to the same config as what the race will be set as?

I will have the server up some time today.

As per how it will be raced. We will be racing on Darren's server so as we can allocate the points.

Ill raise you on that one, I have not turned a wheel in the Audi LMP1H ever.
I will be surprised if I make it to the end of the race.

I managed a 2:06.9 in the Audi with a mates kids helping me steer.

Server is running. Tonights server is NOT the test server.

I had a run on Monday night to work out ERS settings and gearing. Took 2 secs off my PB by doing it. Low passive works for me in a Toyota.

I think I went with the wrong car. All that ERS shit drives me mad.
