AGGOT 2 - MARCH MIDAS CHALLENGE - REGISTRATIONS

Post by Hazelb »

Image

Guys, its official, starting March 2 our second AGGOT will be getting underway.

Drop your name (SO name) with your handicap as it currently stands in this post to register.

All Tournament Rounds will consist of 18 holes.

Tournament course for this event will be Midas Valley.

The Tournament will consist of 4 rounds played over consecutive weeks.
Round 1 opens March 2 and closes March 6
Round 2 opens March 9 and closes March 13
Round 3 opens March 16 and closes March 20
Round 4 opens March 23 and closes March 27

The Tournament Rounds must be played between Fridays and Tuesdays with rounds opening up on Friday morning and closing as late as we need to on Tuesday nights (all scores must be in by the time we get up on Wed morning)

Tournament Rounds must be played with another registered tournament player.

Results of your round are to be emailed to hbevis’@’internode.on.net upon completing your round. (so we can generate a bit of suspense) Please include your final score and the overall handicap you finished the round with. Your handicap may not change, if it does we need to know. All the email needs to contain is your score and handicap and the score and HC or your playing partner (if they are playing their round) or advise who your scorer was. You may include a screenshot of the results if its easier for you too.

We have also set a maximum handicap you can claim. That figure for this tournament will be 10. If your handicap is 10 or below this will not affect you. If your handicap is 11 or more, your score will be treated as being a handicap of 10 regardless of whether your handicap is 11 or 28.

You may only do one 18 hole round per week for the event, however you may play further rounds during the week to act as scorer (or sledger) for a member who is yet to complete their round, but the first round you did will not be able to be updated due to a better score made later.

Should you exit the round prior to its completion due to a disco, we may look at ways to allow you to stay in the event. Let us know if this happens and we can make a decision.

You may play your Tournament Rounds with 1,2 or 3 other players, however for the sake of time, don’t forget 18 holes with 4 players does take some time. Make sure you have it available before teeing off.

The shot clock setting is to be agreed on by the players. We suggest 60 seconds but if players on the night agree, a setting of 30 seconds for a faster game is ok.

There will be 2 leaderboards published by the Friday of the next round so you all know where you are at before teeing off on your next round

1 leaderboard will be based on Shot Online Handicap scores, the other will be a straight off the stick leaderboard. Line Honours if you will.

Sledging is strongly encouraged. We have a teamspeak room set up, feel free to use it, or if you prefer to type your sledges you can do that in game or on the forum provided by ARSE.
