Canon's new pro-grade photo printer

12 cartridges. That's right; 12.

Price will be about $1400 but no idea of the cost of replacing cartridges.

The Epson 2880 is still a good buy if you can find it.

Canon's new pro-grade photo printer

The issue with the 2880 though is that it's about twice as costly to run as my 3880. The print quality is no doubt great, but the ink tanks are too small.

Like all printers, you'll no doubt need to take out a 2nd mortgage to replace the cartridges

I thought yours was a 2880...oh well.

I'll have to do it eventually but I'm not sure what I'll be looking for when I do it.

I'm not sure what size the ink cartridges are in the 2880 but we get our inks from Adorama who give great service & we save a bucketload.

Certainly but there aren't many mugs on this forum.
