Backwards facing horn... interesting.
Some play it safe on the merry-go-round, others go for the thrills of the roller-coaster.

I have a joke for you. I have a prediction that you are going to walk into a bar, my prediction was wrong and your wallet is gone.

Wow, thats weird. As soon as I read that I remembered the horn. The mount was to big for the bars and it used to spin around. Fark me, that is nearly 40 years ago. Maybe my memory isn't fucked after all.

My brain does that too Norbs, I can't remember what underwear I have on but if someone says something about my younger years it all comes rushing back. Can't just think of things back then though, need a reminder. Where's that getting older thread?

Re: Your first bike.
this was mine, it had a motorbike body kit on it.
this was it a few years later when it had been stripped of all unnecessary gravity friendly weight.

Re: Your first bike.
My first bike was a collection of bare parts that my father brought home over a period of time, nothing fancy, single speed, back pedal brakes only, hand painted & assembled, a true classic
It was too big for me initially so always had to get on it from off a wall or steps or whatever was handy. No photos of course.
My first new bike was a Christmas pressie in 1968, a Speedwell, 3 speed hub gears with, wait for it, mud guards & a spring loaded carrier thingy on the back had that for many years.

I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way!
