Hey dudes
I inherited a Vivitar tripod which is very good, sturdy, solid etc
EXCEPT maybe from overuse a couple of the arms are a bit "slippy" and it will slowly slide down if you put any weight on it. So it's basically useless
Do any of you mechanical geniouses have any suggestions as to what i could do to make the legs not retract when i dont want them too?
I fooled around with tin foil (like the glad wrap stuff) sliding that in the slot but that didnt work
at a worst case scenario i guess i could stick some electrical tape around the legs when extended
