My brother in law is in Dubai at the moment and went to Abu Dhabi for a Ferrari event and saw it.

Re: La Ferrari
I like it. Rear wing is probably necessary for active aero.

Re: La Ferrari
Well, if you consider it, having no main wing over the back is probably a bonus somehow.
Instead of having the weight distributed over the rear of the car in total, adding extra weight onto the rear of the car in whole, the fezza has downforce only over each rear wheel, putting downforce in exactly the right place and if you get paid as much as the ferrari engineers do, then that will make sense, shame it looks stupid.

Re: La Ferrari
I actually like the rear winglets, makes it look very unique & very hotwheels like.
I wonder if the active rear wing rises so high as to somehow link in with these winglets?
I doubt it but how cool would it be if it did.

Re: La Ferrari
That would only make sense if the wings were directly attached to the suspension. In terms of downforce it's pushing the rear of the car down - it doesn't matter where it is across the back. How the airflow works with those wings in that position is a different matter.Bails MacKenzie wrote:Well, if you consider it, having no main wing over the back is probably a bonus somehow.

Re: La Ferrari
It does make the car look a bit unfinished, but also funky.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Re: La Ferrari
It has the active rear wing, and the winglets just give that bit more aero. Looks good while fully braking.
