Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Hi Gents,
Rather than putting up a million different things individually, I'll just post things in this thread as I put them up for sale. Some things I will hang on to as long as possible, other's are good to go now.
So, first off the mark is my old Macbook Pro.
Macbook Pro 17inch, Mid 2010. $500 + Postage MACBOOK SOLD
Specs are attached to post.
Essentially it's a Mid 2010 17 inch Macbook Pro (This size no longer exists). 8 gig of Ram, Dual Core i7 2.66, 500gig 7200rpm HDD, DVD burner/reader. Battery is still in great nic and just purchased a new charger for it late last year.
There's a very small superficial dent on the right hand side of it and some typical wear and tear.
It will be formatted and ready to run from scratch with latest OS X operating system.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Next item.
SOLD
Pair of KRK VXT8 Studio Monitors (Speakers), with Stands and KRK ERGO Room Calibrator. $800
Come with great stands that can be filled with sand or whatever tickles your fancy. They have spikes etc on the bottom as well as cable management.
These are the monitors http://www.krksys.com/krk-studio-monito ... /vxt8.html
Here are important looking people saying things about them.
Here's some info about the ERGO. Essentially, you use the supplied mic to take readings/measurements around the room, it then produces a more neutral sound from your speakers. Great for those editing like me or doing sound mixing etc.
More info here http://www.krksys.com/krk-ergo.html
Here's a video of some chump saying stuff about it
M-Audio BX10s Sub $100 + Postage
Info can be found here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/4 ... 0W_10.html
The sub has a bypass pedal, but it's no longer working. You can setup the ERGO to switch the SUB on and off at a touch of the button anyway and I prefer to run it through that.
Great Sub, with decent low end.

Was thinking the same thing Norbs.
Aren't likely to be selling a 2560x1440 monitor at all Righty?

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Haha.
I already had JD asking me this via PM, so he has first dibs.
As I've said to him, I've got 2 Dell 27inch U2711 monitors. One of them actually has a small dead pixel spot (about 4 or 5 in a group), so I was going to get rid of that one super cheap, the other is in great working order.
I'm looking at selling the good one for 250 bucks and if anyone was interested, I'd chuck in the other one for $50, otherwise I'll sell that one for a $100 by itself. They are calibrated monitors out of the factory, so perfect for photo editing and that sort of stuff.
This is them. http://www.dell.com/ae/business/p/dell-u2711/pd
I'm not looking to sell these till around mid to late June though, so I'll keep you all posted.

Just wanted to add that I sit behind a pair of these at work and they are fantastic, nice colours and not glossy like glass monitors which drive me crazy!!! They are heavy tho.Righteous wrote:I've got 2 Dell 27inch U2711 monitors. You should try sitting in front of them tomorrow Knappo. Those Dell guys do indeed make a good back casing, but IMHO, their screens are much better!KNAPPO wrote:Just wanted to add that I sit behind a pair of these at work and they are fantastic, nice colours and not glossy like glass monitors which drive me crazy!!! I did want to mention I think you could have milked that one a little longer by doing the "feed line" then "punch line", rather than punch then feed as you currently have it.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Hello Gents,
I've got some more stuff, but just wanted to gauge if there's interest. If you're keen I can add more details or you can PM me with a fair/reasonable offer.
Things if you're interested.
PS Vita with 4 games. FIFA, WIPEOUT 2048, Gravity Rush and Little Big Planet.
PS3 with 30 (estimate) games 5 controllers, 2 move controllers, PS Eye. Games include GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption, Diablo III, Little Big Planets (both PS3 versions)and a bunch of others if you want a list.
Possibly selling the PS4, still debating that one, I might take it with me.
I have 2 x Canon Speedlite 580EX II. Incredibly rare that I use these and am thinking of heading to Sony DSLR anyway in the future.
E-Flite BLADE MSR remote control heli. It's a ready to fly model, I've got a few spares unopened too. Batteries may be on their way out, but I can check that. It has a very cool "remote" charger too. So you chuck 4 D batteries in the charging base and you can charge your heli's batteries without needing a wall socket etc.
I have a WACOM intuos 4 medium size tablet. It's a little worn on the surface, but still works a treat. Pen is in great nic and still has some spare nibs.
I'll add more when I think of it.

Hey Dex,
Yeah, happy to separate them. Looking at $250 each + postage. They seem to be fetching around $300 on ebay.

Brilliant, I'm very pleased to hear that.
After the brief chat we had, I'm convinced you will get even more enjoyment out of them than I did.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Just letting everyone know that I'm not grabbing those flashes, at least for the time being. Too much going on for me right now. Can confirm they are great flashes and a good price too if anyone has an interest in photography.
