Haha. Nope, not that one but....
For a different item.
"Thanks for getting back,am OK with the price and the condition,am buying it for my new apartment, because I'll be coming soon from our rig as am a petroleum project engineer on a rig offshore,i won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work,i would have love to call in person but we have call restriction due to bad weather condition our satellite server has been down.i will be paying you through PayPal or transferring the money from my PayPal wire bank transfer to your bank account, please get back to me with your PayPal details or bsb bank details, so i can proceed with the payment into any of the two and contact the courier agent who will come to pick it up and deliver it in my place.
Await your reply.
Thanks"
The Macbook I had 8 or 9 legitimate people with offers, it was a bidding war I tells ya. In the end I agreed to 650 and only a short while after that, someone offered 700... Oh well. I feel like I could have started it higher now.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
"Hi,i was just about to make the payments for the item when i had this little problem with the picking up of the item, i just got an email from my agent that he won't come and pick up the item unless i pay him the agent commission fee first in order to be able to schedule a pick up time for the item, my pick up agent head quarters is in Beijing China and all payments made for pick up from anywhere in the world is sent to their head quarters in China and the only form of payments they accept is western union money transfer and i tried to pay online but i will need a credit card which i didn't bring on board, and there is no post office or any western union agent on sea! so i have to ask you to help me with the pick up fees, i will include the $550 they charged to pick up the item and take it to my Dad(1st class treatment), to the payments i will send through PayPal cause my bank account is attached to it, after i have made the payments, i will need you to help me send the $550 to my pick up agent through western union money transfer, the western union money transfer can be made at a post office near to you, there is always a western union agent in most post offices or online at www.westernunion.com .I will be making the payments shortly and will email you as soon as it has been done.
Thanks."

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Hate those pricks. Had a bloke from my previous job who had moved to Bangkok. He came back to Sydney for a short while to sell his car and other stuff. I overheard him saying he'd sold his car straight away to a bloke on an oil rig who paid more.
I went over to him and told him about the scam, but he was adamant - he'd been paid by bank deposit and his shipping agent was coming to pick the car up. I emailed him (thought he was a bit abashed about it at work) with all the relevant whirlpool, gumtree and govt threads and warnings about it, but he never responded. I often wonder if he backed out in time, or got scammed and by how much. Serves him right if he did. Greed.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Is anyone interested in these GoPro mounts?
All the stick on ones have still got the 3M tape on them, they are unused.
I've got a whole mess of them here.
One of these (Not pictured)

And these
http://shop.gopro.com/APAC/mounts/roll- ... l#/start=1
I have this too, but I think it's an older model.
Anyways, there's a bunch of other things too, all pictured. Make me an offer on PM if interested.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
Yo Yo.
A few more things.
All of this is too heavy/expensive to ship overseas, so I'm selling. I'll be taking the guts of my machine with me but the rest has to go.
I have two of these CPU coolers.
http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu ... r/tpc-812/
$20 bucks each + Postage
This LARGE case. It's not called a cosmos II for nothing.
http://www.coolermaster.com/case/ultra-tower/cosmos-2/
$180 if you want to come get it from me. I can't be arsed posting it, it's too big. It sells for $430 http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?mai ... s_id=19128
The case currently has this PSU in it http://www.corsair.com/en-us/profession ... wer-supply
I'm after about $150 for that too.
If you want the case and PSU together, let me know and I'll do it cheaper.
Finally, one of these Corsair H105 Liquid CPU cooler
http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series- ... cpu-cooler.
I'd like about $70 for that. It will need thermal paste. It's still attached but will swap it out for the reference one if anyone is super eager to take it. Otherwise, I'll take it out of the case in a few weeks.

Re: Righty's Hollywood Sale Thread
These are both available again guys. Will need to sell ASAP, also will have them up on Gumtree.Righteous wrote:Haha.
I already had JD asking me this via PM, so he has first dibs.
As I've said to him, I've got 2 Dell 27inch U2711 monitors. One of them actually has a small dead pixel spot (about 4 or 5 in a group), so I was going to get rid of that one super cheap, the other is in great working order.
I'm looking at selling the good one for 250 bucks and if anyone was interested, I'd chuck in the other one for $50, otherwise I'll sell that one for a $100 by itself. They are calibrated monitors out of the factory, so perfect for photo editing and that sort of stuff.
This is them. http://www.dell.com/ae/business/p/dell-u2711/pd
I'm not looking to sell these till around mid to late June though, so I'll keep you all posted.
