Both those are CVT I think? The Rav 4 is a corolla jacked up. They're boring. My mum owns an ASX and it's also boring. VW Tiguan/Skoda Yeti will give you a decent perspective on what they're supposed to be. Our Tiguan even came with launch control was epically fun. We drove every compact/mid SUV and the VW won by a landslide. Then bought a Touareg and now an Amarok. Try the VW's mate, they're great!Vilante wrote:It does look good, so much equipment included. I haven't looked at them either yet, will do that, cheers.Cursed wrote:I'm still pretty pleased with my base model Jetta I picked up at the beginning of the year. Has enough go and plenty of space.
I have had 2 hire cars this week, a Rav4 and a Mitsu ASX. I think it's turned me off the small SUV thing. I know I'm coming from a Clio RS so not much is going to be that fun but they were so uninspiring and wollowing. It also seems like you're paying so much more just for the size of the car/popularity of the segment that you get fewer features. Just bland.
Looking forward to getting into the Octavia and the Jetta to see if they make me smile a little
