124 is nice. Price is excellent too. I reckon it looks off in pictures but fantastic in the metal. I'd definitely pick it over an MX5

Nice little car...but I have to ask, why not a Toyota 86?
You can save a bit on the purchase, spend it on track days!

Re: Abarth 124 Spider
Had one Steve. Liked it, don't miss it though. Only time I do is when I read the thread here. I miss my $5k MX5 more. Maybe it's because I drove like a grandpa rather than like it was stolen.
I enjoy the roof down drive too much I think. Would prolly get an early WRX otherwise.
No Haze. Not yet.

Re: Abarth 124 Spider
Depends on what you want. It's about $3k more than the top line MX5 but in my opinion still better featured but about $10k more than the base model.pixelboy wrote:It's like $15k more expensive isn't it?Exar Kun wrote:124 is nice. And the new RF MX5 will be more expensive than the Abarth
If I was looking for a track/road car to spend money on, I'd take a second hand MX5 and throw stuff at it. That would be my preference over an 86.

Re: Abarth 124 Spider
So I ordered one this week. Delivery in about 2 weeks as the spec I chose was available in Melbourne.
