It was not.
Booted at the shop. Stuffed at home. I even showed the shop the damage on the motherboards...
I rang the shop back to ask them how they got the network up on both PCs, because even when I had one of them running, no network. They plugged a USB network adapter in.

Are those boards under warranty?
I had a bad Corsair PSU about 10 years ago and the place where I bought it online were not going to replace it until it was inspected by one of their techs. I go on to Corsair themselves and they wanted it back asap but they also said that if the shop screws you around let us know.
