Birthday gift ideas?

Post by c.j »

My little ladies 22nd b'day coming up and I have no idea what to get or do for her...

Time is half the factor.. but as she doesnt drop hints at anything she needs, wants or desires i dont want to just do the usual jewelry thing or what ever...

Thought about throwing her out of an aeroplane again, i know she loves it but its done already...

You guys got any ideas?

Does she want the new TV, or do you want the new TV?
I think it would be better to get her something that you don't get any benefit out of really, I'm sure she would appreciate it more being spoilt in a almost selfish, all about her kinda way.
My two cents anyhow

Something random and off the wall. What's her likes/dislikes?

Potatoes are good... they never die! better than flowers. Leave em in the cupboard and they just keep growin new eyes and shit.

But seriously, what does she like/dislike. Is she a tech junkie? Does she collect body parts from random insects? More info Sin!

I didn't actually think about it at all, it was just the first thing that popped into my head :) But, in hindsight, at least she'll be reminded of you every time she touches it :p

Diamond, never heard a female go "Crap another bloody diamond."

Have a look at the next 6 months worth of upcoming concerts, any of her fav's coming your way?

Suprise luxury weekend away

Pamper day at a good spa - massage / spa / facial / other treatments etc

As an old hand I take note of any "Hmmm I'd like one those / that / them" comments and right them down.
I've a list in my wallet of about 5 or 6 things including details like size / colour / shade / version etc.
Ever since the "What possibly made you think I wanted a exercize bike you dick" incident, I take care to get it right.

For sure, i would prefer too Thornz, it was her idea thats all... but yea I made the mistake of commenting how I would plug my PC into it for racing... so I would def prefer to get her something that i receive no use or benefit from.... unless it was some hot sexy outfit she wears hahaha...

Well i'd like to get her something that spoils her.

She has been very hard working as a Mum and deserves something just for her.

She is turning 22.

I think she is too, i dont know if Shy is the right word? but she doesnt like being pampered as the center of attention.

She doesnt watch movies much, but likes TV shows. I was going to get her a gift voucher for a funky clothes store in the city but she just today threw out 5 bags of clothes, some she'd never worn and said in a huff "i am not buying any more bloody clothes for ages!"

She is thinking of studying a Uni course in natural medicine.
She has an Ipod already.

needs a new phone...

How about a can of Mace?

It shows you care and want to protect her, and it'll probably be tax deductible.

Since she's a Mum, guarantee it'll go straight to the kid/s.

What about a new camera? What's she like about taking photo's etc etc.

In regards to mobile phones, One of the new Sony Eriksons or something. nearly all my Ex's loved those phones, except my current gf who preferred the new crackberry, lol. They look pretty funky and have decent features. The G705, the W595 or the C905 (8.1MP Camera too).

Keeping to the new mum theme... what about a diaper wash service or a house cleaner for a few months.
