Breaking Bad

Post by NeilPearson »

So has anyone seen this?

Im just about to start the final episode of seaosn 1, sadly only 7 eps, but its really brilliant.

its about a high school teacher who won a Pulitzer (i think, it was something like that) and went into teaching so he is broke. gets diagnosed with cancer and decides to cook crystal meth to get money to support his family when he isnt around.

I suggest you go looking for it, and watch it.. very good!

Top stuff isn't it? I'm up to episode 5 of season 1. The Dad from Malcolm in the middle is great in it. Apparently season 2 has been "greenlighted" as they say in the business.

Finished watching series 1 a couple of nights ago. Awesome series, but it just ends up in the air. I'm amazed it took so long to get series 2 approved/funded or whatever the problem was. This series prompted some great debates between Bibi and i about his behaviour. I could really identify with his thinking about handling the cancer and not wanting to just be railroaded into treatment that was most likely going to make his last weeks or months miserable for everyone and once again take control of his life away from him. Bibi had the contrary view - that it was selfish of him to want to refuse treatment and deny his family the chance of him living. I thought it was selfish of his family in a sense to deny him the dignity of deciding how he wanted to die.

But it was great to watch him come to terms with the consequences of the other big decisions that he made and also to see the secrets the other members of the family had. Top series and I look forward to series 2.

Anyone who hasn't seen this - watch it!

Hmm. When I heard the rumour there might be another season I kinda hoped it wouldn't happen since the last series finished so well.

Fingers crossed they aren't just milking it.

9th ep of the 5th season Dex. They split the 5th season in 2. 8 eps earlier this year or last year? Now the final 8.

I think it is maybe the most popular torrent I have seen. I grabbed it before the TD seedbox had started seeding. When I finished (took 90 seconds to come in) I refreshed the TD page and there were 34 seeding and 600 leeching! 3500 people seeding it now. :)

I knew there was a 5 in it somewhere. Was a good episode anyway. I also don't normally watch TV shows until there's a season out, but I couldn't wait for this.
