Hi all,
I know there are a lot of talented people here and the company I work for needs a new website. It would be preferable to have someone who is based in Sydney and someone who does this for a living. We are putting together a project team to manage the implentation and we have a budget. Can anyone who might be interested throw me a reply here.

We do sites, but not the design - altho you get a cms system + you can get a shop module as well.
So it can even be a multi-ARSE thingo
(or we can get tried local designers to cater for your needs)

seriously i think either Virtual-R or Pix will be the guys to see. I'm sure there's probably more guys but they both do a great job from what i have seen.

The thing is "I need a site" does not cover the real need.
Do I need a website end-to-end?
Do I need to be able to change the content?
Do I want to capture leads, email people?
Do I need a design only, and I've got a person hacking together a html page?
Do I have a system already in place and someone needs to put a design on it?
The variations are endless. But the "I need a site" usually means much more than a design, only; that's why I dared to offer my company as a solution provider. If it's design only, then it's indeed not us whom are needed here.
