While im all for eradicating drugs from the sport, the amount of Clenbuterol in Contadors system was so small, id almost believe him (didnt it get picked up in a lab that tests levels 10-100x more sensitive than what the Anti-Doping body guidelines suggest?)

I am glad he got done. Not so glad the youngest Schleck sister has won a TdF. And really pissed that Armstrong dodged a bullet. I hope they catch that bastard at some stage. The more I read about him, the fouler the stench is.

I'm glad Contador got done too but very pissed off it was late and the ban gets back dated so it's effectively a half year ban. Sounds like a whimpy penalty on something that the UCI seems so determined to fight against.

I would rather see Armstrong's case dismissed because a definitive answer whether right or wrong is better than more years of arguments, trials and a mess against the cycling community. I'm pretty sick of hearing about it and I'd rather just let the case die, even if I do think he was a cheat

Until they introduce life-time bans for dopers then this sport will never move on.
What a complete watse of time & effort all this has been, incl the LA case.

Yeah. Wish they had the balls to take on drug offenders before/during events.

I wonder how many other cyclists will fall victim now that it seems like they are nailing every drug cheat from last decade...
