First movie was full of excellent moments and quotes. Hopefully they can make this one as good.

I'm with you Neil, I don't understand how everyone thinks they are so good. They just aren't that funny.NeilPearson wrote:Just watched the first one for the first time. Have to ask, where is the funny? Laughed more at the blooper real in tge credits.

Re: Anchorman 2.
Check out Wake Up Ron Burdundy. Anchorman fans. Basically it's an alternate cut of the original movie with a different plot. Not as good but still piss funny.
Yeah Vil both wrong.

Re: Anchorman 2.
Don't get me wrong I love Will Ferrell, Especially Land of the lost and step brothers. But this, I just found to be a bit... meh. Maybe the internet ruined it for me? Since there are many gifs/pics about it all floating around. I guess I was just expecting more. Before I saw it I was surprised to see how low it is on IMDB rating considering the love it gets from the internet. Now I don't get the internet's love for it.

Re: Anchorman 2.
If they put out any more trailers, there won't be any jokes left when you go to see it.

Yep, I'm avoiding all of it.J.D. wrote:If they put out any more trailers, there won't be any jokes left when you go to see it.
They've been doing this for ages though. I remember going to see the first Men In Black at the cinema and was narked to find I had seen almost every scene in either a preview or trailer. Since then I've stuck to watching a trailer for a film and nothing more.

Re: Anchorman 2.
i went and saw it today, it was ok but not as good as the first by a long shot. The first half dragged a bit but it got into it's stride a bit in the second half. Some good lines in there but the storyline seemed to be a bit all over the place with not much point. Brick came out with a bunch of good lines, like when they were talking to their new black female boss 'Veronica got a tan'.
